Principal's Welcome

          Welcome to the Cedar Elementary School web page.   At Cedar, we believe in the importance of educating the “whole child.”  We work to ensure that all of our students succeed in academics, but we also concentrate on building future citizens of good character.  There is a saying that goes, “One can get all A’s in school, but still flunk life.”   This is not true of students who attend Cedar.  Our mission is to see to it that our students succeed everywhere.

          Our motto is:   Respect + Responsibility + Relationship = Results.  We are all about “Results” at Cedar.   These results are achieved because of our highly qualified teachers, supportive parents, dedicated volunteers and community partnerships.

         We hold high expectations for all of our students, and we believe that all of them will learn.  Not only will they learn while at Cedar, we expect them to leave Cedar with a desire to become life-long learners.
